Our students learn in and out of the classroom. Our after school activities are led by our talented staff and proven community partners to provide a safe, supportive place for academic enrichment and fun.
Dragons After Dismissal
One of our signature programs, Dragons After Dismissal, is a grant funded, 33-week afterschool program for up to 100 Govans students, K-5th. It Includes homework help, healthy snack and dinner, and services to support parental involvement.
Mondays through Thursdays, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (times may vary)
Dragons After Dismissal activities include:
- Hands-on STEM program through Let’s Go Boys and Girls
- Girls on the Run, a running team
- An award-winning Robotics Team
- Academic tutoring programs, free to all K-5th students

To enroll in after school activities, parents complete an application the Friday before the start of the school year.
